Which Charger You Need
Higdon splits its motion decoys into two generations, PRO and the older XS. Both use 12 volt lithium-ion packs, but the charger is not the place to improvise.
If you own a Pulsator PRO, a Battleship Swimmer PRO, a Finisher Swimmer PRO, or a Flasher PRO, this is the charger. Keep a spare in the truck, because a charger left on the kitchen counter is the same as a dead decoy.

Both packs are 12 volt lithium-ion and UL certified, and both are compatible with all PRO Series and XS Series Higdon products. The double battery comes standard on PRO Series Swimmers and on the Pulsator PRO Guide Pack.
Worth doing the math before a long sit: a single battery on a three hour charge gives you seven hours of motion, which covers a normal morning with room to spare. If you hunt dark to dark, or run two spots in a day, the double is the cheaper answer than buying a second decoy.
The Cord Rule That Trips People Up
PRO Series products: connect both the power cord and the charging cord on the battery. They only fit one way, so you cannot cross them up.
XS Series products: connect the power cord only. Do not connect the charging cord. It is marked "For PRO only" and does not need to be connected for the battery to run an XS unit.
This is the single most common support question on these batteries, and it is why a pack that charges fine can still look dead in an XS decoy. The battery is the same. The wiring expectation is not.
Charge the Night Before
Runtime numbers assume you started full. Three hours on the single pack means a charger plugged in after dinner has you ready by bedtime. Six hours on the double means it needs to go on before you eat, not after.
Lithium packs also lose charge sitting in a hot truck box through the offseason. If the decoy has been in storage since January, put it on the charger before the opener rather than the night before, so you find a bad pack with time to replace it.
