What to Look For
Saddle hunters walk in with their whole setup, so the pack decides how much you sweat before the sit. Match the pack size to the platform you carry and check each listing for capacity and how it attaches. A gear hanger keeps the pack within reach once you are up.
For a day pack that does more than carry a platform, the general hunting backpacks shelf has larger options.
Saddle Hunting Backpack FAQs
Which Platform Pack size do I need?
Check each listing for the fit and dimensions, and match the pack to the platform you carry.
Can I use a regular hunting backpack for saddle hunting?
Yes. Any pack you can carry quietly and hang in the tree will work. Saddle-specific packs are built around carrying a platform and sticks.
