Glock 19 Holsters
The Glock 19 is one of the most common carry pistols in the country, so fit is the easy part. The real choices are carry position, whether you run a red dot or a weapon light, and how much retention you want. Each holster here is cut for the 19, and many also list the 23 and 32, which share its frame, so check the fit line in the product details. Pistols with a weapon light go in holsters for guns with lights or lasers, and the full gun holster collection covers other pistols and revolvers.

Inside the waistband and appendix
Most of the Glock 19 holsters here are IWB, and most of those are Kydex. We The People IWB holsters come in black, grey and carbon fiber finishes for the 19 and 19X. The Mission First Tactical AIWB/OWB holster is ambidextrous and converts between appendix and outside-the-waistband carry. Blackhawk's Stache and A.R.C. IWB holsters cover the 19, 23 and 32.
If you prefer leather against your side, DeSantis makes the Insider, the Inside Heat and the Dual Carry II for the 19 and 23, and the Slim Tuck in Kydex with a clip that allows a tucked-in shirt.
Outside the waistband and paddle
For the range, open carry or a jacket-covered belt, OWB is faster and far more comfortable. The DeSantis Mini Scabbard and Thumb Break Scabbard are leather belt holsters in black and tan. The Bulldog RR paddle holster is polymer, fits Glock 19, 23 and 32 in Gen 1 through 4, and goes on and off the belt without unthreading it. Blackhawk's SERPA Sportster paddle and T-L2C compact holster both use thumb or finger-activated retention, which keeps the pistol locked in until you mean to draw. On a bigger build, OWB at 3 to 4 o'clock is usually the most comfortable; see holsters for big dudes.
Red dots and weapon lights
A slide-mounted optic needs a holster with a cut channel at the top, and a weapon light changes the shape of the whole front end. We The People offers MOS versions for optic-equipped 19s. Mission First Tactical's Pro Series IWB is cut for the 19 and 45 with either a TLR-7 or a TLR-1 mounted, and the 1791 Ultra Custom OWB is a light-bearing holster for the 19X.
Check the generation
Most Glock 19 holsters fit across generations, but not every one does. The Bulldog paddle, for example, is listed for Gen 1 through 4. If you carry a Gen 5, read the fit line before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Will a Glock 19 holster fit a Glock 23 or 32?
Usually, yes. The 19, 23 and 32 share the same frame and slide dimensions, and many holsters here list all three. When a product lists only the 19, assume it fits only the 19.
Do I need an optics-ready holster for a red dot?
Yes. A standard holster can block a slide-mounted optic or rub against it on the draw. Choose a version marked MOS, optic-ready or optic-cut.
Kydex or leather for a Glock 19?
Kydex is thinner, holds its shape for one-handed reholstering and does not need break-in. Leather is quieter and more comfortable against skin but needs a few days to break in and will soften over the years.
