Accessories
These wader accessories solve one problem: keeping shotgun shells where your hand can find them while you stand in water. You get two shell belts and two wader shell clips, from Alps Outdoorz in Max-7 camo and Ducks Unlimited in Original Bottomland. Belt or clip comes down to habit. Belts sit at the waist, clips attach to the waders.

Shell Belt or Wader Shell Clip
A shell belt rides at your waist outside the waders, which makes reloads quick when you are standing in timber or walking a marsh. A wader shell clip attaches to the waders themselves, which some hunters prefer when a belt would sit under a coat. Both keep a handful of shells ready so the box stays dry in a blind bag. Pick the pattern that matches your rain gear and the rest of your kit, and check the product page for capacity.
While you are at it, a wader bag keeps the truck clean on the drive home, a dry bag protects your phone and license, and a headlamp gets you to the hole before shooting light.
Matching Camo Across the Kit
Original Bottomland takes its name from the river-bottom timber it was drawn from, and Max-7 is the other pattern on this shelf, so compare both against the cover where you hunt. If you are building a duck kit from scratch, choose the pattern for your coat and hunting bibs first, since they cover the most surface, then match the belt or clip to them.
