Short, long or Mini Action
Talley, EGW and Warne make short action and long action Picatinny bases for the Howa 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard. Talley and EGW also make bases in 0 and 20 MOA for the Howa Mini Action, which uses a smaller receiver than the 1500. Check your rifle's action before choosing.
Bases shared with the Remington 700
Some two-piece bases fit the Remington 700 and the Howa or Vanguard. Weaver's #35 and #36 top mount bases and Warne's Maxima two-piece base list both, and Warne's Vapor two-piece base lists the Vanguard. If the product name lists your rifle, it fits.
