Product Overview
This is the Athlon Optics Cronus BTR sunshade for 56mm objective rifle scopes, a short threaded tube that screws onto the front of the scope to push the objective lens back into shadow. Hunters and long-range shooters run one to cut the glare and lens flare that show up when you are shooting into low morning or evening sun, which is exactly when the wash-out tends to cost you the shot.
It threads directly onto compatible Cronus BTR objective bells, so there is no adapter to fuss with and nothing extra to carry into the field.
