Swivels for Rifle Slings
Sling swivels are the small hardware that decides if your sling clips on in five seconds or never fits at all. This page holds 101 swivels, studs and sling mounts from Grovtec, Michaels, Midwest Industries, Daniel Defense and others. Match three things before you buy: your gun's attachment point, the swivel style you prefer, and the loop width of your sling.

QD sling swivels and push-button bases
A QD sling swivel snaps into a cup or base with a button press and comes off just as fast, so one sling can move between rifles that share the same cups. Grovtec has the deepest run here, including heavy-duty push-button swivels, an angled loop version and several push-button bases (one Picatinny-mounted, one fixed, others with titles cut short), so read each product page for how it mounts. Daniel Defense, LWRC, BCM and Midwest Industries add their own QD mounts and swivels.
On AR-style rifles the attachment points move. The rear point often sits at the receiver end plate or buffer tube, which is where the Midwest Industries QD end plate sling adapter, the heavy-duty end plate and the Grovtec tri-base buffer tube piece go. Up front, Midwest front sling adapters and M-LOK QD adapters, Grovtec M-LOK and KeyMod studs and the UTG Pro M-LOK QD mount handle the handguard. Mission First Tactical's one-point sling mount is the piece for single-point setups. Measure twice on these, because handguard slot patterns and end plate styles vary between rifles, and the product page is the place to confirm the match.
Swivel sets for pump shotguns and lever guns
Plenty of guns leave the factory without a front stud, and the specific swivel sets solve that. Grovtec lists sets for the Remington 870, Remington 1187 and Mossberg 500 plus Ruger models, and Michaels has Remington, Mossberg, Ruger and Marlin sets. Both brands also sell barrel-mount sets, and TOC makes a magazine cap and a barrel bolt with a swivel base built in. Many of those titles are cut short, so open the product page to confirm the exact model. Once the hardware is on, add a gun sling and your turkey choke tubes and the spring gun is done.
Studs, screws and the small stuff
Replacement studs and bases, wood screws, machine screws, brass Chicago screws and spacers live here too. If you are installing a stud yourself, a set of punches and drivers from gunsmithing tools keeps the job neat. Keep in mind that a sling stud often doubles as the bipod mount, so check the Harris bipods page and the Grovtec bipod stud rail adapter if you plan to run both. For rifles with a rail, Picatinny bipods skip the stud entirely, and swivel bipods are worth a look for hunters shooting off uneven ground.
Sling Swivels FAQs
What size sling swivel do I need?
Match the loop to your sling strap. The titles list 1 inch or 1.25 inch loops.
Will a QD swivel fit my sling stud?
Not directly. A QD swivel needs a QD cup or a push-button base to lock into. Read the base's product page to see how it attaches to your gun.
My shotgun has no front stud. What do I buy?
Look for a swivel set listed for your model, such as the Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 sets, and check the product page for whether it mounts at the magazine cap, the barrel or the forend.
