Holsters for Guns with Lights or Lasers
A weapon light or a laser changes the front end of your pistol, and a standard holster will not take it. Each holster here is cut for a pistol with a specific light or laser mounted, or built to fit a range of railed pistols with one. Check the product details for both the gun and the light or laser model. Without a light on the gun, start with IWB holsters, OWB holsters or the full gun holster collection.

Light-bearing IWB holsters
The Mission First Tactical Pro Series IWB is cut for a pistol and light pair. Versions here fit the Glock 19 and 45 with a TLR-7 or a TLR-1, and the Sig P365XL, P365-XMACRO, Springfield Hellcat and Glock 43X with a TLR-7 Sub. The 1791 Light Bearing Smooth Concealment is a leather IWB holster that is also optic-ready.
Light-bearing OWB holsters
The 1791 Ultra Custom OWB is a light-bearing holster with versions for the Glock 19X, Glock 43X and Sig 220/320. The Blackhawk Omnivore is the answer for anyone who owns more than one railed pistol. It fits more than 150 semi-auto handguns with an accessory rail, as long as the light is the one it was built around, with versions for the Streamlight TLR-1/2 and the SureFire X300. It also has a thumb-activated level 2 retention lock. For more belt and paddle options, see OWB holsters.
Laser holsters
Viridian makes Kydex holsters for its own E-Series lasers, including versions for the Springfield Hellcat Pro and the Ruger MAX-9. Sticky Holsters makes laser versions of several sizes, including Large Autos and J-frame revolvers, for frame-mounted lasers.
Why a light changes the holster
A light-bearing holster has to make room for the light's body and switch, so the light model matters as much as the gun. Some, like the Omnivore, index on the light itself, which is how one holster can fit many railed pistols running the same light. A holster built for a TLR-7 will not take a TLR-1.
Frequently asked questions
Will a regular holster fit my gun with a light attached?
No. A standard holster is shaped for the bare pistol, and the light will not fit inside it. You need a holster made for the light, or you need to remove the light to carry. Bigger shooters running a full-size pistol and light should also see holsters for big dudes.
Does the Blackhawk Omnivore fit my gun?
If your pistol has an accessory rail and you run the light the holster was built for, very likely. Choose the Omnivore version that matches your light.
Can I carry a light-bearing holster concealed?
Yes. The Mission First Tactical Pro Series and the 1791 Smooth Concealment are both inside-the-waistband holsters made for concealed carry with a light or optic mounted.
