Same J-frame layout as the acrylic Charge, cut from African blackwood with a blackwood toneboard behind the reed. Wood reads a little warmer and rounder through the bottom end, which is why some hunters will not run anything else once they have owned one. The built-in hold carries over, so the soft work is still easy.
