Security Cameras
Cellular security cameras for places with no Wi-Fi: hunting land, cabins, gates and equipment sheds. This shelf carries the Tactacam Defend and the Defend 360 pan tilt zoom camera, along with the Defend rechargeable battery and Defend solar panel. Pick the fixed Defend for a single gate or door, the 360 when one camera has to watch a whole yard.

Choosing a Cellular Security Camera
A cellular security camera sends images over a cell network, so it works where a home camera cannot: a deer camp, a locked gate on a lease, a barn at the back of the property. Confirm the camera's carrier has signal where it will hang before you mount it. The fixed Defend covers one view well. The Defend 360 can pan, tilt and zoom, so one unit can watch more than one direction.
Power is the other decision. The Defend rechargeable battery gives you a spare to swap, and the Defend Cam solar panel keeps the camera topped up on remote sites. If you also run trail cameras on the same land, the trail camera security box options on our accessories page protect those too, and a cabin with firearms inside should start with one of our gun safes. For checking a noise after dark, keep a tactical flashlight by the door, and stock the camp with deer feeders and tree stands for the reason you bought the land.
Cellular Security Camera FAQs
Does a cellular security camera need a data plan?
Yes. It sends images over a cell network, which takes a plan. Check Tactacam's current options and confirm coverage at your site.
Will the Defend solar panel work with my Reveal trail camera?
The listing names the Defend line. For Reveal cameras, use a Reveal panel from our Tactacam solar panels page.
