Tripods for Steady Shots
Athlon's Midas tripods are carbon fiber and come with either a bowl mount or a ball head. The ball head is Arca compatible, which is what lets the Midas Tripod Saddle clamp on. That saddle is a gun vise for Arca-style mounts. A tripod earns its spot on long sits over open ground where a riflescope needs a solid rest, and it also steadies spotting scopes and binoculars with the right adapter. Practice setting it up at the range before opening day so the motion is automatic when a deer steps out.
Water and Camp
The ALPS Reservoir 3.0 is a 3-liter bladder built to pair with ALPS packs, with a check valve to stop backwash. The ALPS Gaze fire pit weighs 8 pounds, holds up to 135 pounds of wood, and is made from aluminum and stainless steel. Pack food in one of our coolers and the deer camp is mostly handled. On a long walk in, a 3-liter reservoir means fewer stops to dig a bottle out of the pack.
Hunting Accessories FAQs
Will the Midas tripod work with my rifle?
The Midas Tripod Saddle fits tripods with an Arca-style mount and clamps the rifle. Check the product page for the clamp range before ordering.
Does the Reservoir 3.0 fit packs from other brands?
It is designed to pair with ALPS packs. Fit in other packs depends on the sleeve and hose port, so measure first.
