Accessories
Trail camera accessories that solve the three usual problems: aim, power and theft. Mounts and stakes from Tactacam and Spypoint put the lens where the deer are. Rechargeable packs and solar panels keep the camera alive between visits. Security boxes keep it on the tree. Start with whichever one cost you photos last season.

Trail Camera Mounts and Stakes
Trees rarely grow at the angle you need. A trail camera mount lets you tilt and turn the camera after it is strapped up, so the frame covers the trail instead of the bark six feet away. Tactacam's Tree Mount 3.0 is the low-cost option for their Reveal line. The T-Post Camera Mount puts the camera on a steel fence post, which is handy on field edges with no good trees. The Adjustable Camera Stake goes in the ground, useful over a scrape or in an open plot.
Spypoint's adjustable mounting arm uses a standard 1/4"-20 thread, the same thread found on many trail cameras and tripods. Confirm your camera has that socket before ordering.
Height matters as much as angle. A camera set at eye level is easy to spot and easy to steal. Mount it higher and tilt it down with an adjustable mount, and you get a wider view of the trail with less chance of a stranger noticing it.
Trail Camera Security Boxes and Signs
Cameras on public land or near a road walk off. A trail camera security box makes that harder. Tactacam sells boxes for the Reveal in Gen 3.0 and Gen 4.0 versions, so match the box to your camera's generation. A three-pack of Tactacam No Trespassing signs is here too, for posting the property line that the camera is watching.
Batteries, Solar and Storage
Swapping disposable batteries in twelve cameras is how hunters learn to love rechargeables. Tactacam's FlexPack R5 and R10 come as singles or 2-packs, alongside a lithium battery cartridge, a battery belt and an R5 power bundle that pairs a panel with a FlexPack. Spypoint has 3.7-volt and 7.4-volt lithium packs and two solar panels. Stealth Cam has a 5000mAh FieldMax lithium battery and a rechargeable 360 Cam Max pack. Battery fit varies by model and generation, so read the listing first.
The Tactacam Reveal Extended Range Antenna 3.0, Armored Solar Cable and Bluetooth Wind Sensor round out the Reveal accessories. For storage, Spypoint's 32GB micro SD card covers the card side. And the ALPS Motive is a pack designed to carry trail camera gear from truck to tree. For the full Tactacam power lineup, the tactacam batteries page is more focused.
Put the Camera Where It Pays
Accessories only help if the camera is in the right spot. Set mounts over travel routes into deer feeders, licks, or mock scrapes freshened with deer scents. When the pattern shows up, move in with a tree stand and a treestand safety harness, and carry it all in one of our hunting packs.
Trail Camera Accessories FAQs
Will a Tactacam battery fit my older Reveal?
Not always. Some packs are built for a specific Reveal generation. Check the listing and your camera's model before ordering.
Do I need a security box?
If the camera is on public land, near a road, or anywhere people walk, a box is cheap insurance against losing the camera and its photos.
What is the best trail camera mount for a fence post?
The Tactacam T-Post Camera Mount is the one on this page built for posts. For open ground with no post, use the adjustable stake.
