The Frogg Toggs Rana II is a bootfoot hip wader built for shallow water, small streams, and chores around the pond where chest waders are overkill. The felt outsole grabs slick rock and mossy creek bottoms, so you keep your footing where cleated soles tend to skate.
Check your local regulations before you wade in. Felt soles are banned in some trout waters because they can carry invasive algae between streams.
