Product Overview
Maxx is the Spitfire with a bigger appetite: a full 1 3/4 inch cutting diameter on the same trusted front-deploy platform. Choose the hardened Trophy Tip for bone or the cut-on-contact point for maximum penetration on soft entry, in 100 or 125 grain. Either way the blades stay closed until impact, held by spring clips instead of O-rings.
Why it earns a spot
- 1 3/4 in cutting diameter, a full quarter inch over the standard Spitfire
- Offered in Trophy Tip and cut-on-contact configurations
- Spring clip blade retention, nothing to slip or rot
- Replacement blades and practice head available
