Product Overview
The DK4 refuses to pick a side in the fixed-versus-mechanical argument. A pivoting main blade rides fixed until it meets bone, then deflects around it instead of stopping dead, while two mechanical bleeders open on impact and add the second axis of cutting. Four surfaces, 1 3/4 inches of cut, and the penetration profile of a much narrower head. 100 or 125 grain.
Why it earns a spot
- Hybrid design: one pivoting main blade plus two mechanical bleeder blades
- The main blade deflects around heavy bone instead of stopping on it
- Spitfire spring clip technology holds the main blade closed at launch
- Bleeder blades guaranteed to open on impact
- Four cutting surfaces, 1 3/4 in cutting diameter
