The Avian-X LCD Laydown Hen is a turkey decoy molded to copy a hen settled flat into a breeding position. The wings and head sell the pose, and that relaxed low profile tells an approaching gobbler the coast is clear, and it doubles convincingly as a dusting hen during slower mid-morning setups.
Like the rest of the LCD line, it is molded from PVC dura-rubber that quiets movement and holds its shape, and it runs 15 percent smaller than a live bird so it never looks oversized in the spread.
