Bowstrings live a hard life, soaking up moisture and grinding fiber against fiber every shot. HME's string wax is formulated for synthetic strings to seal out water and condition the fibers, which keeps the string serving longer and shooting smoother.
Application is about as simple as it gets. When the string looks dry or feels tacky, rub the wax over a clean, dry string and work it in.
